Ethnic Wear Day 2015

On 10th November 2015 MET celebrated “Ethnic Wear” day. Girls were dressed in Salwars, sarees and the boys wore kurta pajama. Jeans and tshirts were not at all be seen anywhere in the sprawling grounds. The main significance of the celebration was to respect the traditions and recognize the culture of the others. In a display of ethnic dresses the students came one after another on to the stage and explained briefly about the dress they were wearing. The students also performed traditional dances including a folk dance.
The ethnic dances and display was finished off with ethic food. The students prepared and put on display various traditional dishes. After enjoying the food, photo session took place where photo of each and every participant was taken. The prize winners in different categories are best ethnic women and men dress. The prize for Mr. MET was given to Md. Azharuddin and Miss MET was given to Puja Tiwary.
